Performance, Range, and Charging

Leveraging the first all-electric implementation of Subaru's StarDrive® technology, the dual-motor Solterra transmits 215 horsepower and 250 pound-feet of torque to an EV-tuned Symmetrical All-Wheel-Drive system. An EV-tuned Dual-Function X-MODE® traction management system provides surefooted control in inclement conditions with additional settings for Snow/Dirt and Deep Snow/Mud. And new Grip Control with Hill Ascent and Descent Assist delivers enhanced capability when exploring beyond the asphalt.

Solterra's 72.8-kWh battery pack enables Massachusetts drivers to enjoy emissions-free daily drives, with an estimated 228 miles of range with standard 18-inch alloy wheels or ~220 miles with available 20-inch wheels. The Solterra can fully charge its battery overnight in about nine hours using Level 2 (240V) equipment. And at public DC fast-charging stations, it can replenish ~80 percent of its capacity in less than an hour.

Subaru has partnered with EVgo-the first DC fast-charging network in the US powered by 100% renewable energy-to make charging even more convenient for Solterra owners. The partnership provides access to more than 45,000 public charging stations across the United States, including nearly 3,000 fast-charging stations.

Interior and Technology

The Subaru Solterra offers an open and inviting cabin with modern design details, quality materials, and a streamlined layout. Passengers will enjoy ample headroom and legroom in either row and well-cushioned, supportive, and bolstered seats for comfort that stands up to the miles. Solterra reserves 27.7 cubic feet for storage behind the rear seats. And when you need more cargo room, you can adjust the two-position load floor for 29.9 cubic feet or fold the rear seats for even more capacity.
